Lucid

Basic Information about Bar.Management:

The Bar.Management is a bit different from other committees. You are responsible for organising the drinks every Thursday and have the freedom to also organise events on other days in the week. Unlike other committees, where you only do a couple or maybe even 1 activity per year, the bar sometimes has 3 activities in one week. This means that you learn A LOT. Time commitment varies a lot per week and can be anywhere between 2 hours (meeting) - 15 hours (meetings + preparation events + AP's + event/drink), depending on the week.

In addition, as Bar.Management you are responsible for maintaining the bar. This means cleaning it, buying new things, making sure it works and that the beer tastes nice ;)

Don't worry! If you become Bar.Management, you will have an enjoyable and informative transfer with the current Bar.Management, so that you know all the ins & outs.

- You will have the opportunity to get a BHV certificate (Bedrijfs Hulp Voering: EHBO & Brandveiligheid / First Aid & Fire Safety)

PS: it is tradition to "Drink the Function Over" this means that you will get elaborate information about what the function entails while enjoying a few nice drinks.

Chairman:
The Chairman is responsible for keeping overview of what happens within the Bar. The Chairman leads the committee and makes sure that everyone is able to fulfill their functions. In addition the Chairman makes the meeting agendas keeps overview of the topics that need to be discussed and addresses potential issues or situations with the Lucid Board or members. The Chairman is the official spokesperson and thus has contact with external partners of the Bar and is also end responsible for the role of the Lucid.Bar within Lucid.

Secretary:
The Secretary is responsible for documentation of the Lucid.Bar and the bar meetings. In addition the secretary is responsible for making the planning (when are drinks/events and who is going to draft?) and the communication towards the Tappersgilde (drafters). The secretary also works together with the secretary of the Lucid.Board to make sure the events are planned well.

Facilities:
As Facilities you are responsible for everything that is needed to facilitate nice drinks and events. This means: Fixing the bar when it is broken, ordering the beer, making sure that all bar systems work. Don't worry if you don't have this practical knowledge: you will either learn, or be responsible to make sure someone else fixes it for you. As Facilities you are the big boss over the bar menu, it is up to you to decide which drinks are available, in which glasses they will be poured and how much can be served. You will also keep contact with the brewery about deliveries.

Promo:
As Promo responsible you are the contact point between Lucid Members and the bar. It is up to you to manage the bar Instagram, come up with fun ways of interacting with members and making sure that people show up when the bar organizes an event. You will also be part of Team Event to make sure that these events are super awesome!

Events (2 people will do this function together):
As Events you will work together with the Promo person to set-up the bar events. Go further than a standard Thursday drink and do something that is dope, relaxed, nice, fun, crazy, scary etc. Think outside of the box, (almost) everything is possible :) From themed drinks to performances. Are you full of good ideas and do you want to be the event manager of the bar? This is for you.
